What I Offer

Winding Road Yoga offers free classes on YouTube that are ideal for newer yogis and accessible for those of all levels, with an emphasis on alignment and linking breath to movement. There is no commitment required - you can simply sign up for the classes that you want.

Interested in a more personalized approach? I offer private classes on Zoom, including Yin Yoga. Availability is limited, so please contact me for more information.

Introduction to Yoga Poses

Starting yoga can be a little intimidating, but even more experienced yogis may struggle to get the most out of the yoga poses, or asana.

With online yoga classes becoming the norm, and hands on help seeming like a thing of the past, I’m here to help break down some of the more common poses for you, so that you can get the most out of your yoga practice. As always, check in first with your health provider if you have any health concerns, or if you are pregnant.

Slow Vinyasa Flow

This collection is a series of full body slow Vinyasa flows with special attention to a specific area or issue.

Classes last 25-45 minutes and are perfect for waking up or winding down, especially when your time is limited. The classes are tailored for beginner level yogis, but more experienced practitioners will be able to modify and deepen the poses.

Know Your Yoga Anatomy

Yoga is a fantastic way to get tuned in to your body, stretching, strengthening, and balancing as you work through the poses, or asana.

Although each class in this collection is a complete session, we will target some of the larger and important muscle groups with each class. You may just learn something new about your anatomy! As always, if you have any health issues, or muscle, bone, or joint concerns, or if you are pregnant, check in with your medical practitioner before beginning a yoga practice. If you experience any pain or other symptoms, honor your body and get professional advice.
